Amy L. Schleichert is a Freshman at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire majoring in Graphic Design. This piece was created for her Foundations: 3-D class. This installation is site specific, requiring a window as a backdrop in order to make the heavy contrast of the black and white open faced cubes reflect the light properly. Breakdown refers to the gradual dissolving of the cubes, getting smaller as they work down the window. In the future, she wishes to attend the Minneapolis College of Art and Design to receive a MFA in Graphic Design, and to create design work for local musicians in the Twin Cities.
