Philosophy and Religion
Students who undertake the study of philosophy and religion seek to braid rational reflection and sentiments of the numinous. Passion and contemplation are bound in a union by turns problematic and sympathetic. For example, the study of St. Augustine reveals a heart and a mind at work on a treaty between unfettered intellect and fervent feeling.
Students can pursue a BA with a major in philosophy and religion.
