Public History
The public history minor is designed for working historians outside of academia. It combines an academic degree at an accredited liberal arts college with hands-on experience. The goal is to give those who love history and social studies marketable skills they can use outside the classroom. Mary Baldwin College established the minor in 2005 through a collaboration with the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library.
Public History is available as a minor.
Public History is a part of MBC’s School of Arts, Humanities, and Renaissance Studies.
