Protocols

If a proposed research project involves vertebrate animals and is supported by PHS funding, you must obtain IACUC approval prior to beginning research by submitting an animal research protocol to the Chair of the IACUC (Paul Callo, pcallo@mbc.edu). Some projects must be reviewed at a convened IACUC meeting and revisions are sometimes necessary, so allow two to three weeks of time before your proposed start date or proposal due date.
