Candidates are first admitted as MLitt students. Interviews for admission to MFA studies take place shortly before completion of the MLitt, which is a prerequisite for the MFA.

Admission is competitive. Offers of admission are extended to the strongest candidates based on:

Selected candidates will be invited to Mary Baldwin College for interviews, which may include a brief audition. Candidates for, or considering, the Acting and /or Directing concentrations should prepare a brief audition piece and are encouraged to submit videotapes or other evidence of their work. No admission will be granted without an interview/audition.

Deadline

Applications for Fall 2010 will receive full consideration for merit scholarships if received by February 1, 2010.
