Alert Good morning.

Commencement will be held on Page Terrace as scheduled this morning at 10 a.m.

In making the decision to hold the ceremony outdoors on campus despite the iffy weather, President Fox kept in mind the strong preference of the Class of 2013.

Family and friends attending today's ceremony should use their best judgment regarding rain gear. Since the grassy hillside could be slippery should it become wet, we encourage guests to wear appropriate footwear and as always exercise appropriate caution.

Congratulations to all those who will receive their degrees today, and deepest thanks to all the family and friends whose support helped them along the way.

Committees

Budget
The Budget Committee manages the finances of all other committees under the BPB umbrella.  This group serves as the gatekeeper of money.

Film & Coffeehouse
The Film and Coffeehouse Committee is responsible for bringing small-venue movies and coffeehouse events to campus. Some of these events include new-release movies, poets, musicians, speed dating, and karaoke.

Late Night Programs
The Late Night Programs Committee guarantees a regular event every Saturday night at the Nuthouse from 9-Midnight.  Working in collaboration with all other clubs and organizations on campus, the Nuthouse is the place to be every weekend for a variety of fun!

Social
The Social Committee plans campus-wide parties and sponsors larger events as entertainment for students.  The parties feature bands and DJ’s throughout the year.  The Social Committee is also responsible for MBC’s formal event, Signature Ball.

Special Events
The Special Events Committee brings novelty acts to campus including comedians, hypnotists, magicians, and game shows.  This committee also hosts traditional events such as BPB Spa Day.

Publicity
The Publicity Committee is responsible for getting the word out on campus about what BPB is bringing to campus. This committee is also responsible for advertising BPB events on other local college and university campuses by posting flyers and posters, announcements, pep rallies, chalking the sidewalk, table tents, and publicizing on the BPB hotline.
