HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER OF THE SENATE BOARD?

The Senate President is also the SGA Vice President and a member of the Executive Committee. She is elected in February of the previous year during Slate I and must be either a junior or senior who has served as a Senator for at least one full year.
The Senate Secretary is also the SGA Secretary and a member of the Executive Committee. She is elected in February of the previous year during Slate I and must be either a junior or senior who has previous experience in Senate from serving as either a Co-Chair, Senator, or Hall President for at least one year.

The Senate Treasurer and Senate Parliamentarian are elected in February of the previous year during Slate 2 and must have served in Senate for at least one year.

To be elected to any of the four positions, you must attend an Election Workshop provided by the Board of Election Co-Chairs as well as fulfill all SGA requirements for being a student leader (e.g. 2.4+ GPA , etc).
