HOW DO I BECOME A SENATOR, HALL PRESIDENT, OR CO-CHAIR?
Senators and Hall Presidents are elected within the first few weeks of the Fall Semester. Each hall or dorm will have an election process run by the RA during which you may campaign for a position before your hall votes on who its representative will be.
Co-Chairs are generally appointed at the end of the previous academic year in April or May, or at the beginning of the Fall Semester. If you are interested in a specific Co-Chair position, you should contact the Senate President.
There are no prerequisites for becoming a Senator, Hall President, or Co-Chair beyond fulfilling the SGA requirements for being a student leader (e.g. GPA of 2.4+, etd).
