2007 Orientation Weekend Schedule

All new students – whether residential, commuter, or transfer students – are encouraged and welcome to attend any/all of these events. If you have questions about any of the events, please check with your orientation leader for more information.

That concludes the formal Orientation schedule, but you will have lots of help and guidance as you work to become fully aware of your new surroundings and on track to be a successful student and citizen of Mary Baldwin College. Do not hesitate to reach out whenever you need information – here are a few places to start:

  • Stay in touch with your orientation leader.
  • Schedule time with your faculty adviser.
  • Call on your resident adviser in your residence hall.
  • Find the Sena Center for Student Life and explore its offerings.
  • Go online to www.mbc.edu for news and calendar information.
  • Check your MBC e-mail box frequently and read the daily Digest messages.
  • Sign up for a peer mentor through the Learning Skills Center.
  • Ask to meet with any member of your student government association.
  • Do you have a Big Sister? Stay in touch with her.
  • Talk to the college chaplain, Reverend Patricia Hunt.
