Academics at MBC
Housed within the interdisciplinary World Languages, Literatures, and Cultures department, anthropology serves as a foundation for many majors at MBC. The senior seminar and thesis is written in a joint class with language and area studies majors. This cross-disciplinary discussion is unique to Mary Baldwin. Students also benefit from the requirement that one course be taken off campus or abroad.
Students can pursue a BA with a major in Anthropology/Sociology. Anthropology also is available as a minor.
Related disciplines: Sociology, International Relations, History, Historic Preservation, French, Spanish, Asian Studies, Latin American Studies
