Academics at MBC
Art History Graduates
“I loved studying at Mary Baldwin. Working with Marlena and Sally James,
as well as the entire philosophy department, was the greatest pleasure. However,
no matter how excellent the education and support I received at MBC, breaking
into the art world is not easy, especially shortly after graduation. Experience
and boldness is everything, as well as whom you know.”
Claudia Kopp ‘06
Claudia Kopp ‘06 moved to Boston in August (after finishing all course
work and internship requirements for her majors) and started a second internship
as Gallery Representative at the Copley Society of art, the nation’s
oldest non-profit art association. She also works part-time at the Museum of
Fine Arts in Boston.
"MBC's stellar professors and liberal arts curriculum were pivotal in creating the solid foundation of analytical curiosity that has supported my professional and creative explorations."
