
Asian studies majors examine a broad perspective of culture, religion, politics, economics, and history. The diverse and wide range of classes covers China, Japan, Korea, and the Middle East. Students can spend a semester or more at various universities in Asia, including Mary Baldwin’s sister school, Doshisha Women’s College in Kyoto, Japan.
Students can pursue a BA with a major in Asian studies. Asian studies is also available as a minor.
