NOTES ON SENIOR REQUIREMENT
- The senior project is fulfilled through successful competition of CHEM 400-401, including the oral defense of a written thesis on an independent and original research project.
- ADP students at a distance or employed in the chemical industry may do the research in an approved laboratory. For distance students, participation in an off-campus approved seminar series may be substituted for the on-campus seminar.
- In ALL cases the defense MUST be before the Mary Baldwin College chemistry faculty.
- You must have a C average or better in chemistry courses to declare and maintain a major.
