This residential program with courses offered on the Staunton campus leads to both the bachelor’s degree and teacher licensure. Undergraduates must major in one of the liberal arts disciplines and meet requirements as part of the general education curriculum.

The undergraduate Adult Degree Program (ADP)
ADP is a nonresidential baccalaureate-degree program for men and women who do not yet have bachelor's degrees. The program leads to both the bachelor's degree and teacher licensure at the elementary, middle, or secondary level. Courses are offered at the Staunton campus and regional centers, online, and by independent study.

Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Licensure Program (PBTL)
PBTL is for men and women with baccalaureate degrees seeking an initial teaching license as a first-career choice or as a career change. This nonresidential program leads to teacher licensure only. Courses are offered at the Staunton campus and regional centers, online, and by independent study.
