Careers
The international relations major prepares students for a variety of careers in the emerging global community. It is especially useful for careers in the U.S. government: in the foreign service, for military careers, and in the intelligence community. The major also prepares students to work in international organizations, in non-governmental organizations with an international focus, and in international businesses. It also prepares students for graduate studies in disciplines such as political science, international relations, history, and economics.
