Martha Walker
Martha Walker is associate professor of French and director of women’s
studies. Her scholarly research focuses on politics and gender in contemporary
French and Francophone theater. She offers courses on theater as both literary
and performance text as well as on 19th and 20th century women writers. In addition,
she teaches intermediate- and advanced-level French, the latter including an
introduction to French and Francophone culture through film and literature.
