Administration Building

One of the oldest structures on campus, the Administration Building was built in 1844, just two years after the college was founded as Augusta Female Seminary. The president, dean, admissions, and financial aid all have offices here. Two cast iron dogs at the front steps have served as sentinels since the early 1870s. They’re known as Ham and Jam, named after a couple of staple ingredients of Sunday evening meals many years ago.
