Academics

As a student of the liberal arts, you must meet all the requirements of the Mary Baldwin College general education curriculum including courses in the arts, humanities, natural sciences and social sciences and courses that emphasize writing, oral communications and issues of particular interest to women and to the global economy. You must meet all the requirements of your major field of study. In addition students in VWIL must take additional math, science and must demonstrate competency a modern foreign language. VWIL students complete a minor in leadership studies and an internship and earn 12 credits for participation in ROTC.
