How to Apply
To apply for campus employment through the Work-Study Program at Mary Baldwin
College, please follow the guidelines listed below.
Guidelines for New Students:
- Browse the Job Opportunities listing
for available Work-Study positions.
- Select your top four choices of jobs based on your areas of interest
and experience.
- Complete the MBC
Work Study Application for Employment (PDF) and mail it to:

- Please be aware that we will do our best to place you in one of your
top four choices of jobs, but may not always be able to do so due to
availability. If we cannot fulfill your request, we will use the information
in your employment application to match you with a job that fits your
experience.
Guidelines for Returning Students:
- If your current supervisor has requested that you return to your position,
you do not need to re-apply for that job.
- If you would like to change jobs or have not worked on campus previously,
browse the job opportunities listing for available Work-Study positions.
- Email a cover letter and resume for each position you are applying for
to Dixie Daniel at ddaniel@mbc.edu.
You may apply for more than one position. Your cover letter should detail
the position you are applying for, why you are interested in this position,
and what makes you uniquely qualified. Your resume should include relevant
educational background and work experience. If you need help writing
a professional resume or cover letter, please contact the Rosemarie Sena
Center for Career Development.
