The mission of our Human Resources Department is to hire, develop and retain the most qualified and competent faculty and staff available to accomplish the overall mission of Mary Baldwin College. A primary objective is to promote a productive, discrimination/harassment-free working environment by maintaining compliance with employment laws and government regulations, and developing appropriate personnel policies and procedures. Payroll’s function is to ensure that all employees of the College are paid in a timely and accurate manner and that all payments and withholdings are made in accordance with federal and state laws. We perform these functions with an emphasis on providing quality customer service and assisting our employees in a caring and trustworthy manner. We support a diverse atmosphere where employees feel valued and respected as individuals.
