She’s immersed herself in college life. Stone is assisting a professor on a research project about shrews, writing for the college’s Campus Comments newspaper and starting a local chapter of the LETS club, an acronym for Let’s Erase the Stigma about mental illness.

"We don’t use princess dolls. We don’t want dolls with tattoos and piercings. You’d be surprised (at some of the dolls available)," Andrea Cornett-Scott said. "We have bought out Staunton."

Open to the Staunton community, this free, annual event features carols and festive songs by Mary Baldwin College Choir, Baldwin Charm, Bella Voce, and Anointed Voices of Praise.
