CLEAN AND GREEN: BUSINESS FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

The business and marketing communication curriculums at Mary Baldwin College focus on social responsibility and the importance of creating a sustainable business culture, i.e. businesses that nurture the organization, the community, and the environment. This unique approach provides students with a broader perspective on today’s economic and environmental climate, resulting in a more interdisciplinary major that carefully balances the liberal arts with critical business principles.

Departmental priorities include preparing students for a satisfying and successful career, learning financial responsibility, studying ethical behavior within the organization as well as with consumers, environmental sustainability, and respect for diversity, among others.

Students may pursue a BA with a major in business or marketing communication. Business also is available as a minor, as are management, marketing, and human resource management.
